Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule

More than 72 Hours Before Charter

100% Refund

Entitled to: Complete reimbursement except for processing costs

Time for Processing: 5-7 business days

Fee for Processing: €50 for credit card payments

Stipulations: Request must be made in written form via email or telephone

24-72 Hours Before Charter

50% Refund

Qualifies for: Half of the total charter price

Processing Duration: 7-10 business days

Fee for Processing: €25 deducted from the refund

Conditions: Acceptable reason necessary; admin fees apply

Less than 24 Hours Before Charter

No Refund

Qualifies for: No reimbursement available

Exception: Emergency situations may be taken into account

Option: Charter voucher might be provided subject to management decision

Stipulations: Official documentation is mandatory for emergency situations

Weather-Related Cancellations

Our Weather Commitment

Your safety is our foremost priority. Should weather conditions be considered hazardous for the operation of charters by our qualified captain, we present flexible options:

  • Total Reimbursement: A full refund if rescheduling is not achievable
  • Reschedule: Move your charter to another date with no extra charge
  • Charter Voucher: Issue a voucher valid for one year from the original booking date

Procedure for Weather Evaluation

Our determination of weather involves:

  • Evaluation of wind velocity and compass direction
  • Assessment of wave size and oceanic conditions
  • Visibility and rainfall forecasts
  • Alerts and advisories from the Coast Guard
  • The safety assessment by our professional captain

Timeline for Decision: Decisions on weather-related cancellation are made at least 4 hours prior to the scheduled departure.

Medical Emergency Refunds

Critical Circumstances

We realize that medical emergencies can arise unexpectedly. The following are examples of situations that might receive special consideration:

  • Sudden medical afflictions or injuries necessitating hospital care
  • Loss of an immediate family member
  • Summon to military duty or urgent recall
  • Juror service or legal subpoenas
  • Acts of nature disrupting travel plans

Requirements for Documentation

For handling urgent refund requests, please provide:

  • A medical statement or hospital records
  • Death certificate (if relevant)
  • Official military directives
  • Summons from a court or notice of juror duty
  • Emergency declarations or travel warnings

Processing: Reimbursements for emergencies are executed within 3-5 business days following the receipt of valid documentation.

Operational Cancellations

Technical Difficulties

Should your assigned yacht have mechanical issues that remain unresolved:

  • Another Yacht: We'll seek to provide a yacht of equal merit
  • Complete Reimbursement: Issued if an equal substitute is unavailable
  • Partial Reimbursement: If the alternate yacht is priced differently
  • Compensation: We may offer additional recompense for any inconvenience

Lack of Crew Availability

In uncommon instances of unavailability of certified crew:

  • A substitute crew will be arranged if feasible
  • Total refund in case the charter cannot proceed
  • Rescheduling with no additional fees

Reimbursement Processing

Method of Payment

Refunds are directed back to the original method of payment used for reservation:

  • Credit Cards: 5-7 working days
  • Bank Transfers: 7-10 working days
  • Cash/Cheque: 3-5 working days

Credit Card Handling

€50 charge for cancellations requested more than 72 hours in advance

Bank Transfer Handling

€25 charge for all bank transfer reimbursements

International Handling

Extra charges might apply to international transactions

Vouchers for Charter

Instances for Voucher Offerings

Charter vouchers might be provided instead of refunds under specific scenarios:

  • Last-minute cancellations (under 24 hours notice)
  • Cancellations due to weather
  • Requests for voluntary rescheduling
  • Operational disruptions

Terms for Voucher

  • Duration: Valid for one year from date of issuance
  • Transferability: Not transferable to other individuals
  • Monetary Value: Equivalent to the full value of the charter (excluding processing fees)
  • Usage: Applicable to any available charter within the validity
  • Expiry: Extension beyond 12 months is not permitted

Reimbursements for Partial Services

Service Disruptions

If your charter experience is interrupted or cut short due to reasons under our control:

  • Refund calculated based on the portion of the service not used
  • Credit equal in value to a future charter
  • Complimentary services or upgrades offered

Disruptions Caused by Guests

Should a charter be terminated earlier due to guest behavior or safety infringements:

  • No refund for the time not utilized
  • Payment in full is still required
  • Additional fees may be levied

Addressing Disputes

Should you find yourself in disagreement with a refund decision made by us, you may:

  • Ask for a re-evaluation by our management
  • Present additional evidence or documents
  • Look for an outcome through consumer advocacy bodies
  • Consider legal options in accordance with related laws

We commit to acknowledging your refund request within a day, appraise it against our policy, inform you of our decision within 2 days, and will honor approved refunds as per our advertised timelines.

Essential Information

  • Refund applications must be submitted in a written format
  • Refunds are executed in €, irrespective of the booking's transaction currency
  • Purchasing travel insurance is advised
  • This policy can be subject to changes, given a 30-day notice
  • Refunds obey all relevant taxes and regulations
