3. Booking and Reservations

3.1 Booking Process

When making a charter reservation, you're required to:

  • Be at the legal age of 18 or above
  • Provide precise and complete details
  • Remit the deposit amount as outlined in your reservation confirmation
  • Consent to these Terms & Conditions

3.2 Confirmation

Confirmation of your reservation only occurs after we receive your payment and send a formal confirmation. We maintain the choice to decline service at our sole discretion.

3.3 Availability

Charter availability is contingent on the accessibility of the vessel and appropriate weather. We will earnestly try to accommodate your requested dates and timings.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Pricing

All quoted prices are in € and include taxes unless specified differently. Prices can be subject to modification without prior notification.

4.2 Payment Schedule

  • Deposit: 50% of the complete charter fee payable upon reservation
  • Remaining Balance: To be paid 48 hours before the commencement of the charter
  • Additional fees (if any): Payable after the charter concludes

4.3 Payment Methods

Our accepted payment methods include major credit cards, electronic bank transfers, and certified checks. Payments are processed via secure, encrypted platforms.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Customer Cancellations

  • More than 72 hours in advance of departure: Full return less transaction fees
  • Between 24-72 hours before departure: Refund of 50%
  • Within 24 hours of departure: No reimbursement

5.2 Weather Cancellations

If the captain deems weather conditions to be hazardous, we will propose to:

  • Reschedule the charter to an alternative date free of extra cost
  • Issue a total refund if rescheduling isn't feasible

5.3 Mechanical Issues

In the case of mechanical issues with the designated vessel, we will attempt to provide an appropriate substitute. Should no alternative be accessible, we will issue a complete refund.

6. Safety and Conduct

6.1 Safety Requirements

All guests are expected to:

  • Adhere to all instructions provided by the crew
  • Utilize safety gear as instructed
  • Inform about any health conditions that might affect their safety
  • Stay within the allowed areas aboard the vessel

6.2 Prohibited Items

The following items are forbidden on the vessel:

  • Containers made of glass
  • Illegal substances
  • Firearms or any other weapons
  • Excessive quantities of beverages (beyond modest consumption)
  • Pets (except if given prior consent)

6.3 Conduct

Passengers must behave in a civil manner. We retain the right to terminate a charter prematurely with no refund if a passenger’s behavior creates a risk to safety or diminishes the enjoyment for others.

7. Liability and Insurance

7.1 Our Liability

Our liability is confined to the cost you paid for the charter. We are not liable for:

  • Injuries that happen due to passenger negligence
  • Lost or damaged personal possessions
  • Indirect or exemplary damages, or consequential loss
  • Delays due to weather or events outside our control

7.2 Insurance Coverage

We carry a comprehensive marine insurance policy that covers our vessels and operational activities. Clients are accountable for their travel and individual insurance.

7.3 Assumption of Risk

By partaking in our charter offerings, you accept that nautical activities possess inherent risks and you assume responsibility for your personal safety and welfare.

8. Modifications and Itinerary Changes

We hold the authority to adjust itineraries, pathways, or timetables based on atmospheric conditions, safety needs, or operational demands. We will endeavor to supply comparable alternatives whenever adjustments are made.

9. Force Majeure

We are not answerable for postponements, cancellations, or alterations caused by force majeure, such as but not confined to:

  • Severe climatic conditions
  • Catastrophes
  • Regulatory directives
  • Harborage closures
  • Vehicular malfunctions
